The annual ceremony of the CHIVAS SPEAR’S Russia Wealth Management Awards 2011was held in Moscow on November 17, 2011. Dmitriy Zhuk, managing director of AXIOMA Wealth Management AG (Moscow Repoffice) won the award «Investment Consultant of the Year».

Described as very professional and with a strong personality and an uncanny ability to understand client needs, Josef brings a wealth of knowledge and over a decade of experience to the company. This includes asset management, private banking, portfolio management, and export and trade finance to name a few. His knowledge of the Russian market extends to the language, culture and mentality of the people. This was gained while reading Eastern European history and literature at the University of Zurich and from his career start in Yekaterinburg in the Ural in the early 1990s. His network of contacts in Switzerland extends to banks, financial institutions and beyond. He is a recognized private banking expert and pioneer in introducing the asset manager-client-bank idea to the Russian and Eastern European market. Prior to his chairmanship at AXIOMA, Josef was Director for Regional Development at Renaissance Investment Management. He also worked at UBS AG in Zurich as a client advisor. Josef is a member of the Swiss Association of Asset Managers. He is married and has a daughter. Apart from Russian, Josef is also fluent in German, English and French.

Igor comes with vast experience in FX and money market trading. Prior to joining AXIOMA, he was part of the top management team at the Russian Alfa Bank for nearly 13 years. Igor decided to turn his passion for portfolio management into his profession. And with good reason as he can use his vast experience and in depth knowledge of Emerging Markets Fixed Income funds of CIS and other countries to help clients fulfill their financial requirements. This all adds on to his constant quest for excellence, understanding of the yield curve and search for new and exciting financial opportunities.
Igor‘s strength lies in the fact that he always seeks a dialogue with clients to be able to determine the true picture of their risk appetite and offers each one a personalized portfolio to match their needs. Igor studied economics and international trading at a post-graduate level. His passion for his job is only equaled that for his collection of books.

A renowned currency trader, Andrey was responsible for rouble/dollar trading at Alfa Bank for 10 years. He later became Managing Director of the same bank.

Andrey is known for his sixth sense and disciplined trading approach in exchange circles. At AXIOMA, Andrey advises clients on currency matters – and is also willing to discuss more aggressive strategies according to clients’ requests.

Before taking on the responsibilities of Head of the Zurich office, Svitlana worked for a private Swiss company where she was responsible for corporate governance of international holding entities. She also promoted CIS investment projects within the Swiss Organization for Facilitating Investments (SOFI), an institution sponsored by the Swiss Government and mandated to KPMG Zurich. Svitlana is a member of the Board of the Swiss-Ukrainian Business Chamber and a member of the inter-governmental commission Switzerland-Ukraine. Her vast experience in organizing seminars and conferences in Switzerland as well as in CIS countries, and her huge network of contacts within politics and economics circles, makes her an ideal candidate to help fulfill clients’ needs. Svitlana – who is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, German and English –possesses a Masters in Business Management.

Georgy is considered to be one of the foremost and experienced financial relationship managers in the Russian market. His international experienced has taught him that it is vital to put a special emphasis on the risks a client faces – and not just possible benefits.
Georgy worked as a Director at Renaissance Investment Management for five years. His tasks included working directly with clients. He was also responsible for business development in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Up until 2004 Georgy supervised a number of CIS key-clients at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young as a Business Development Director. His experience in Central Asia makes him an invaluable asset to AXIOMA.

Considered one of the most successful and experienced Russian relationship managers, Dmitry brings to AXIOMA Wealth Management AG an added edge and a wealth of experience. Prior to joining the company, Dmitry was the Head of Sales at IC Troyka Dialogue. Subsequently, he was the general director at major Russian investment companies, including Renaissance Investment Management and Third Rome Investment Solutions.
Dmitry possesses invaluable experience when it comes to managing significant clients’ portfolios. He is a highly recognized financial market expert and a strong analyst, a fact continually acknowledged by the various awards he receives.
As Managing Director at AXIOMA Wealth Management AG, Dmitry takes active part in the development of the Representative Office strategy. His understanding of economics, and knowledge of financial products coupled with his search for the best investment solutions and protection of his client’s assure further success for all parties in the Russian wealth management market.

Michael has gained a unique and professional insight of sales in the Russian, CIS and Baltic financial markets during his career. Over the last 10 years, he carried out a number of significant and core projects for Alfa Bank where he was the Head of Financial Market Sales. Before joining AXIOMA Wealth Management AG, he held executive positions in “Credit-Impeks” Bank and Sobinbank.
Michael’s presence will further expand AXIOMA’s reach across Russia and the CIS countries; his experience will help the company to provide customers with the service they have come to expect from us. His communicative skills, expertise and insight, and his ability to comprehend individual investment requirements enable Michael to establish and develop solid long-term relationships.

Alexander is a renowned financial consultant and specialist in designing individual investment strategies. He sharpened his professional teeth in trade and project financing work before taking on the challenge of private and corporate capital structuring at Renaissance Investment Management and Aton Management. Since 2011, he has been successfully utilizing his experience and knowledge of the financial markets to build trusting relationships with clients at AXIOMA Wealth Management AG.

He graduated with honors from the Economic Faculty of Moscow State University and possesses a Master of Business Administration.

Maria, an exceptional fixed income specialist took over the post of head of financial analysis at AXIOMA Wealth Management AG in 2011. Prior to that, she was responsible for credit analysis as well as development and co-management of bond portfolios in both domestic and overseas financial markets with Renaissance Investment Management. Her distinguishing features include a disciplined and comprehensive approach to finding and implementing investment opportunities. Maria is a CFA charter holder. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish apart from Russian.

Julia helped establish and became head of the Moscow Representative Office of AXIOMA Wealth Management in 2011. Her knowledge has helped ensure the office runs seamlessly with regards to administration, personnel management, marketing, management and financial reporting. She graduated from the Economic Faculty of the State University – Higher School of Economics. Julia gained significant experience in financial market analysis and macroeconomic forecasting during her professional life at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, KIT Finance Investment Bank and Alliance Continental Asset Management.
